Pushpa In Telangana: High Prices To Beat AP Collections?

Well, the Telangana State government is living up to their promise that they will stand by the Telugu Film Industry in crisis times, no matter what.

Apart from allowing an extra 5th show for tomorrow’s release Pushpa, the government also passed a GO to allow the tickets to be sold at a price of ₹ 250 as well. Definitely, that’s a blessing in disguise for high budgeted movies like this.

On the other hand, High Court in Andhra Pradesh has ordered the theatres to go ahead with their ticket pricing after striking off the GO issued by the government that cancelled all the hikes.

But then, theatre owners are supposed to get a letter from collectors regarding the same, of which there is a doubt if the IAS officers will go against the government. And that will give supreme advantage to the collections in the Telangana region as theatres will be literally minting money here.

All it takes is Allu Arjun and Sukumar creating a fantastic word of mouth with the visual experience they have promised to deliver. If that happens, these hiked ticket prices for the first week or so in Telangana state are likely to bring Pushpa huge collections.

Bunny’s previous film Ala Vaikuntapurramlo collected nearly 4.5+ crore on Day 1 in Telangana, while it minted 12.75+ crores in the Andhra region on the first day. Trade pundits are expecting that these two figures might either get equal or Telangana collections will be more this time.
