When Ranbir Kapoor & Ayaan Touched Rajamouli’s Feet

Gone are the days of routine commercial filmmakers in South India, as Rajamouli has elevated the status of every Telugu filmmaker to a legendary level. Bollywood brigade is showcasing that love for Rajmouli time and again, as we could notice from the way Karan Johar to all other celebs address him as ‘sir’ with love.

On Saturday evening we have the team of upcoming Bollywood biggie Brahmastra, which features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the leads while Ayaan Mukherjee is directing it, has met the press in Hyderabad. With Rajamouli being the ‘presenter’ of all south versions of the movie, he took to the stage as a host for the event.

And after he praised Ayaan for the commitment he has shown as a filmmaker for working nearly seven years on the project, Rajamouli said that the young filmmaker is crazier than him. Getting on the stage, Ayaan has quickly touched the feet of Rajamouli before starting his speech.

The same is the case with Ranbir Kapoor whom Rajamouli praised for his standout performances in movies like Rockstar and Sanju. Immediately after touching the feet of Rajamouli, Ranbir even said, “Sir, you’re not just my favourite Indian director but my favourite filmmaker in the world”. This love being showered by the Bollywood brigade on Rajamouli is quite touching we have to say and that respect and admiration could be felt in their eyes as well.
