Day 1 BO 71 Crore: Party Eppudu Pushpa?

Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s collaboration Pushpa: The Rise has set a post pandemic record. Despite garnering mixed talk, Pushpa managed to rake in a record collection at the Box Office. According to an official confirmation by producers, Pushpa has collected a world-wide gross of Rs 71 Crore on the first day. This makes Pushpa the highest grossing Indian film after Covid second wave. With this, fans and netizens are asking, “Party Eppudu Pushpa?”

Nizam

In Nizam, Allu Arjun emerged as the winner with Pushpa. Pushpa: The Rise earned a whopping Rs 11.44 Crore share which is a milestone for Allu Arjun at the Box Office. This is said to be the highest grossing Telugu film in the region. Dil Raju has distributed the film in Nizam. He acquired the distribution rights for Rs 35 Crore. The film needs another 24 Crore share to reach the break-even. The makers are expecting a great Saturday and Sunday given the hype and buzz around the film.

Andhra, Ceded & South

Pushpa is doing phenomenally well in Andhra, Ceded. In Rayalaseema, the film is quite strong given that the film is set in Chittoor and the hero has got the authentic Chittoor slang in the film. Surprisingly, Pushpa has got a record opening in Tamil Nadu which is a rare feat. In Kerala which is considered as Allu Arjun’s bastion and Allu Arjun is revered as Mallu Arjun, the film is registering strong numbers. In Karnataka where Allu Arjun has a strong foothold, Pushpa is doing quite well.

North Region

In the Hindi belt, Pushpa is doing great. Especially, the single screens are contributing largely for the film. Pushpa has stunned the trade with its opening in Bihar, Rajasthan, Pune and other areas. The Hindi-dubbed version which was initially slow has picked up to everyone’s surprise. While the Hindi version registered relatively less figures at multiplexes, it is quite strong among the single screens. The three big popular multiplex chains are also said to be shocked with Pushpa’s craze among the single screens.

USA

In the US, Pushpa has crossed 1 Million USD. With early sales of Saturday, Pushpa has achieved this feat. Thus it became the first Telugu film to achieve this feat in the US in the shortest time of less than two days. Pushpa did this feat with the Thursday night premieres, Friday regular shows and Saturday early shows.

Beats Spiderman No Way Home

Pushpa has beaten Spiderman No Way Home in India. Pushpa all India territory figures are way bigger than Spiderman. According to trade analysts, Spiderman managed to rake in Rs 41 Crore gross at the Indian Box Office on the opening day.
