Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa might have bagged mixed reviews. Notwithstanding this, the film has been pulling masses to cinemas. The film emerged as the 100 Crore grosser on the second day. As per trade, Pushpa breached 100 Crore mark world-wide gross.
While the full collections across the territories are awaited, it is learnt that the second day figures in other states are more than the Day 1 numbers. Post Covid-19 pandemic, Pushpa is said to be the highest-grossing Indian film.
In the USA, Pushpa raked in 1.3 million USD (approximately 9 Crore). The film is marching towards 1.5 million USD. Allu Arjun’s terrific performance, Sukumar’s direction and Samantha’s spicy song, Rashmika’s glamour and DSP’s music all seem to have struck chords with the masses. The film has registered record numbers in Nizam and the collections are great in Andhra and Ceded as well.
Meanwhile, producers Mythri Movie Makers have confirmed the second part Pushpa: The Rule. After a month or two-month long break, Allu Arjun and Sukumar are likely to resume the shoot for the second part from Feb end.
