‘Mirchi’ Hamsa Nandini Diagnosed With Recurring Cancer

For the last couple of months, Pune based Poonam Bartake who was popular in film circuits as Hamsa Nandini, was completely absent on social media where she is quite popular with her spicy posts. Fans of the actress expected that something might have gone wrong and Hamsa’s revelation is a shocker now.

Apparently, the actress popular for films like Anumanaspadam, Eega and Mirchi, and for all the special songs she has done, is diagnosed with hereditary breast cancer. According to the actress, cancer will be curable but keeps on occurring and she has to undergo treatment for life. “I have already undergone 9 cycles of Chemotherapy with 7 more to go”, the actress revealed, sharing a picture of her with that bald head that occurs after chemo sessions.

She promised to herself and everyone that she will fight no matter what and will keep inspiring others when it comes to surviving cancer. The likes of Manisha Koirala, Sonali Bendre and Yuvraj Singh have fought and survived cancer, and lets hope Hamsa Nandini will also join that list. More power to your Hamsa!
