Pushpa BO: Super Strong In Second Week

Pushpa: The Rise has emerged as the winner at Bollywood Box Office. The film opened to mixed reviews but that didn’t stop the action thriller from posting big revenues at the pan-India box office.

Trade pundits are shocked with the Pushpa’s BO figures in Hindi circuits on Second Friday and Second Saturday. The film is declared as blockbuster in Maharashtra and Gujarat. The mass film has also done well in Odisha. Pushpa did phenomenally well in Mumbai, CPR Behrar, Marathwada, Pune.

The Hindi version of the Allu Arjun starrer made full use of the Christmas holiday season and has collected a nett of over Rs 33 crores already. It is still going strong, despite competition from Ranveer Singh’s 83. While Pushpa is already rocking in mass pockets, the film witnessed similar range in multiplexes on Christmas day.

In Kerala, Pushpa has reportedly grossed over 16 crores, which is impressive. In Tamil Nadu too, Pushpa has got overflows as it outnumbered the expectations of trade. It is estimated that Pushpa earned about 8 Crore share in Tamil Nadu.

In Nizam, Pushpa has been doing well. On Christmas day, Pushpa clocked in 1.81 Crore share in Nizam which is great on second Saturday. Only in AP, Pushpa’s numbers are affected due to the ongoing ticket prices and other prevailing conditions. Still, Pushpa did moderately well in Ceded and parts of Andhra. Barring East Godavari and Guntur, Pushpa still has good hold overall. In Ceded, Pushpa may end up at good number. Overall, Pushpa did manage to put up a brave show in Andhra despite fighting against all the odds.

Looks like, Pushpa: The Rise has not only resulted in Pushpa’s rise but also in Allu Arjun’s Rise and the Allu hero has gotten what he wanted with this Sukumar directorial.
