Liger Glimpse: Vijay’s Knockout Punch!

It’s a new phase and new beginning for Vijay Deverakonda. His first Pan India film Liger directed by Puri Jagannadh gives him a new makeover and the happening star gets one of the best introductions ever, going by the glimpse of the movie which has been dropped on the occasion of New Year.

Liger glimpse begins with a chopper approaching the MMA fighting arena. The MMA Championship which is given to the winners is shown. Then, commentator gives a heroic introduction to Vijay Deverakonda. “Introducing the boy from India… Slum Dog Of Streets Of Mumbai… The Chai Wala… Liger…”

Vijay Deverakonda spellbinds us with his knockout punches on opponents. The glimpse also shows the two sides of the character. His life as a Mumbai Slumdog and street fights to becoming a WWA fighter. Besides Vijay fighting in the ring, it shows him involving in group fights. While one dialogue shows his patriotism, the other dialogue shows intensity of his character.

Vijay is unbelievable as an MMA fighter as he appeared like a thorough professional. This is just the beginning and many more to come. The more high we get when we are introduced the Legend Mike Tyson. Ananya Pandey played Vijay’s love interest and romantic track is also not included, as the complete focus is on the protagonist.

The glimpse also gives an impression that mother-son bonding is going to be one of the major attractions. Ramya Krishna also appeared in the video.

Mounted on grand scale by Puri Connects and Dharma Productions, Liger is in last phase of shooting. The film is slated for release on August 25th.
