To get India-level attention all at once, legendary director SS Rajamouli and his two heroes Ramarao Jr and Ram Charan started promoting the film big time ever since the trailer of it got released.
And they have traveled across the country to various cities to promote the trailer, did pre-release events, and much more. But then, the film got postponed from Jan 7th release due to the intensifying covid pandemic.
To deliver almost 50+ video interviews, both paid and unpaid, to turn up on various top TV programs to promote the film, the team of #RRR is said to have spent a bomb including the chartered flight and hotel costs. Some sources close to the movie’s production house revealed that they have spent nearly ₹ 12-15 crores for this promotion tour. Now that the release got postponed, all the buzz that is created now might not sustain till the next release date, which we can infer as, wastage of all the promotional package spent.
RRR team is however hopeful that the spurging Omicron and Delta variant cases will come under control and the film will release immediately after the re-opening of theatres in states like Delhi, Maharashtra and Tamilnadu. Lets hope all this promotional package spent will not be rendered useless.
