Akkineni’s long-awaited film Bangarraju’s makers took to social media to give clarity about OTT rumours. They said the film will have only a grand theatrical release following all covid protocols. The shooting has been wrapped and ever since then, several rumours are rife that Bangarraju will also opt for OTT.
However, this message directly from the makers rubbished all the rumours in one go and fans are excited to watch a handsome father and son duo on the big screen. “We request you all not to engage with rumours going around #Bangarraju, as the fans have expected it will be a spectacular theatrical release while following the covid norms and regulations set by the government.” read the tweet.
On New Year, the makers have also released the teaser of the movie, introducing all the lead characters. Directed by Kalyan Krishna, it is a prequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana, released in 2016.
Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna reprise their respective roles in Bangarraju as well and Chay, Krithi Shetty will be the novelty of the film. Music is composed by Anup Rubens and is jointly produced by Nagarjuna‘s home banner, Annapurna Studios and Zee Studios banner.
