As soon as the government of Andhra Pradesh reduced the movie ticket rates, the producers of Tollywood requested the government of Telangana to hike the prices. The latter obliged the request and issued a GO as well.
However, just a few days after the release of the GO, biggies like RRR and Radhe Shyam have been postponed.
On the flip side, many people opined that the viewers will not shell such a huge amount of money to watch small films in theatres.
Thus, the multiplexes in Hyderabad have quickly revised their ticket prices to bring back more viewers to the theatres.
As per the latest reports, the prices for the movies will now be Rs.200, Rs.175, and Rs.150. These rates will be applicable from tomorrow’s new releases.
The Sankranthi festive season of this year will witness a wide range of releases, which include Bangarraju, Rowdy Boys, DJ Tillu, Super Machi, and Hero.
