Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is consistently tweeting about how Andhra Pradesh government can implement plans with regards to the movie ticket prices. RGV shared a plan that could work for both the government as well as Tollywood. Andhra Pradesh cinematography minister Perni Nani too came across his statements. Finally, the duo is going to meet soon to discuss the same.
In the last one week, RGV played an active role in giving voice to the demand that the government of AP should increase the rates of movie tickets in the state. He participated in the news channel debates and also posted a series of tweets.
Perni Nani, the cinematography minister too responded to some of RGV’s tweets. RGV requested the minister to allocate time for a discussion. Finally, the minister has given the appointment to RGV that the director himself confirmed on Twitter.
“Happy to inform that I have been invited by the honourable cinematography minister to the Amaravati Secretariat on January 10 th afternoon ….Thank u @perni_nani Garu for your kind initiative to exchange views on the AP ticket pricing for an amicable solution,” tweeted RGV.
We have to see if RGV can bridge the gap between Tollywood and AP Government in solving the issues pertaining to the cinema industry!
