We Are Fed Up But Optimistic :Yash On KGF2 Release

It was in 2021 when Rocking Bhai Yash unveiled the release date of the much-awaited film K.G.F: Chapter 2. Ever since then, fans have been excited for director Prashanth Neel’s other masterpiece in the making. As of now, the KGF2 release has been scheduled for April 2022.

But a huge spike in covid cases and the ongoing third wave of the pandemic, the theatres are forced to shut, leaving uncertainty over the release of several big-budget films including KGF 2. With some health experts guessing that the third wave will live on until April, Yash admits he is “fed up with the situation yet is staying optimistic”.

Yash recalled how people, even out of the film industry, are going through a bad phase. “There is no consistency in their incomes, plus there is psychological pressure,” Yash said. The actor, who wowed audiences in 2018 with part one, is desperate to bring part two and said that he is excited about presenting the film to the fans.

“We know what we have created. I know people will love it. It is like you are a cook and everything is ready and you know people are hungry but there is some process you need to finish. That’s taking time.” It goes without saying that, after a lot of hard work, we understand what actors must be going through living in uncertainty.

KGF 2 will be released in multiple languages including Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films.
