Ashish, who is welcoming Sankranthi with the release of Rowdy Boys, is confident personified. His journey to cinema started when he was a child, so to speak, for he used to dance in family events and parties.
“Allu Arjun is my inspiration. I did acting course at Satyanand Acting Institute and I worked as assistant director in Kerintha film,” the young actor says.
On Rowdy Boys, he says, “It is a film of engineering vs medical backdrop. It is a two-hour enjoyable movie. Working on romantic scenes became the tough part. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is extraordinary. Nine songs are there and all are good. DSP has done a very good job. We belong to same group and Rowdy Boys is a youthful film.”
On his next venture, Ashish said he would work with a new director called Kashi in a film called Selfish.
Ashish’s uncle and producer Dil Raju said, “Ashish danced very well in Rowdy Boys, he used to dance in our family functions. In 2018, he did theatre and wanted to do film. This film was started on very good note.”
He added: “Unlike first wave and second wave of Covid, Omicron is not very scary. So I am hopeful that we would overcome it without much difficulty. Our next film will have writing by Sukumar. New director Kashi will direct the movie titled Selfish.”
Ashish is making his debut with this film directed by Sree Harsha Konuganti and produced by Dil Raju and Shirish in association with Aditya Music. Anupama Parameswaran in the heroine.
