Recently, Salman Khan announced that he will be soon working for the sequel of his 2015 blockbuster film Bhajrangi Bhaijaan. KV Vijayendra Prasad, who penned the script of the first part, is also writing the story of the second part.
In a recent interview, Vijayendra Prasad said that he has locked the basic idea of the film and is yet to start writing the full-fledged script.
He stated that he is unsure whether Kabir Khan will direct the sequel as well. “It is up to Salman Khan,” said the Baahubali writer.
Meanwhile, Vijayendra Prasad also added that he would like to see Kabir Khan helming the film because the director did a wonderful job in Bhajrangi Bhaijaan. But Vijayendra Prasad has no role in the decision-making process.
Kabir Khan has recently directed 83, featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead role. Even he is yet to respond to the rumours of him directing Bhajrangi’s sequel.
Vijayendra Prasad is planning to finish the script of the sequel by the end of this year. If everything falls in place, the movie will hit the floors next year.
