Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda and Natural Star Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy are two successful films of Tollywood in the recent past. Both the movies had hit the screens in December and ended up as box office successes. Now, they are gearing up for their respective digital premieres.
Shyam Singha Roy is all set to premiere on Netflix at 12 AM tonight. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, this movie featured Krithi Shetty and Sai Pallavi as the female leads.
Nani got a lot of accolades for his performance as Shyam Singha Roy in this film. Even Sai Pallavi delivered a stunning performance in her role. Their scintillating on-screen chemistry made this film a beautiful tale.
On the other side, Akhanda is all set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar at 6 PM tomorrow. This Boyapati Srinu directorial project featured Pragya Jaiswal as the leading lady.
Akhanda is a mass masala commercial potboiler which got all its ingredients right. Especially, audiences loved the character of Akhanda in the film. As a result, it ended up as one of the biggest blockbusters in 2021 and also completed a successful 50 day-run in 103 theatres.
Now, it has to be seen which of these films will manage to garner more attention in the OTT arena. So, which film are you looking forward to watching this weekend?
