The title war between two young heroes – Ram Pothineni and Havish has reached the Telugu Film Chamber. The producer of Havish’s Warrior Dasari Kiran has filed a complaint with the chamber against the makers of Ram and Lingusamy’s The Warrior. With both having locked the title Warrior and both feel that the title is justified for their respective films, the clash has erupted.
According to sources, Havish and Dasari Kiran had registered the Warrior title in the chamber first. It is a Pan India project based on boxing and the film’s shoot is supposed to happen in Poland and other foreign countries due to which it’s delayed.
However, Havish’s Warrior team hadn’t made any official announcement on the film’s title so far. Meanwhile, Ram and Lingusamy’s team had announced The Warrior as the title for the Telugu-Tamil bilingual.
Producers Srinivasaa Silver Screen are trying their best to sort out the issues with Dasari Kiran’s production. However, the latter isn’t ready to compromise and they’re insisting the former to change their title.
Ram is seen as a cop in the first look poster that was unveiled recently along with its title The Warrior. As none of the parties are ready for compromise, the issue has become a headache to the heads of Film Chamber who have stepped in to resolve this. It needs to be seen what is in store.
