This is the time when at least one person from a household is getting tested positive for the novel coronavirus or at least has symptoms of cold, cough, and fever. While some say that the epidemic is reaching an all-time high, some doctors and epidemiologists indicated that the covid-19 crisis has reached the endemic stage. Looks like Tollywood has taken the second opinion very seriously.
While Telugu Film Industry took a break from work as covid started to spread ferociously in the first week of January, they are actually expecting that CM KCR might impose a lockdown in Hyderabad owing to the huge spike in cases.
However, with lockdown not in the sight, and endemic talks gaining momentum, now Tollywood has restarted their work with biggies like Megastar Chiranjeevi and Raviteja resuming shoots already.
The likes of Nani also started to shoot and wrap a project as well, while other young heroes have got into action mode after the Sankranthi holidays. But every film set is said to be witnessing at least one or the other person coughing and sneezing but looks like this has become the new normal for Tollywood. Hope nothing goes wrong.
