It’s no big surprise that filmmakers try to release old and recent movies of an actor who scores a hit in other language. Recently, efforts were made to release Ala Vaikunthapurramloo in Hindi, after the blockbuster hit of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa.
Now, it seems, filmmakers are trying to cash in the newfound popularity of Kannada hero Dhananjaya in Telugu. The actor became popular here with his role as Jaali Reddy in Pushpa. Now, his Kannada film Badava Rascal is getting ready for release in Telugu.
The film directed by Guru Shankar was released for Christmas to positive reviews and it also did good business at box office. Daali Pictures and Rizwan Entertainment together will execute the release of the movie in Telugu.
The question is will Pushpa popularity for Dhananjaya favor Badava Rascal to bring Telugu audience to theatres.
