South Films are getting huge attention in Bollywood these days. Thus, many South Indian movies are either getting remade or getting dubbed into Hindi. Now, there are around 25 South Indian remake projects which are getting remade in Bollywood. Let us have a look at them.
Most of these remake projects are from the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Ala…Vaikunthapurramuloo, Jersey, Hit, Naandhi and Chatrapathi are Telugu films that are getting remade in Hindi.
Kaithi, Jigarthanda, Anniyan, Vikram Vedha, Dhruvangal Pathinaru, Ratsasan, Thadam, Comali, Maanagaram, Aruvi, Maanaadu, Soorarai Pottru, and Master are the Tamil films that are getting remade in Bollywood.
Driving License, Drishyam 2, Helen, Ayyappanum Koshiyum and Nayattu are the Malayalam films that have grabbed the attention of Bollywood makers. The remakes of all these films are in the works right now.
From the Kannada film industry, U-Turn has made its way to the Hindi film industry.
Apart from these films, there are many other South Indian remakes that are in discussion stages. This proves that regional content is ruling Indian cinema right now.
