India’s most ambitious and biggest multi-starrer RRR is going to hit the theatres on 25th March. The latest reports confirm that RRR wouldn’t be releasing on 18th March as there is an embargo in Karnataka on other releases as a mark of respect for departed star Puneeth Rajkumar.
Puneeth’s last film James would be releasing on 17th March across Karnataka and no other film would be in cinemas for two weeks. So, RRR has no other option but to push its release to 25th March.
A formal announcement on RRR’s release date is just made. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva’s Acharya is releasing on April 29th. “After a health discussion and on mutual understanding, we would be releasing Acharya on April 29th as RRR would be hitting the screens on March 25th,” said Acharya team in a poster.
Prabhas Radhe Shyam will be hitting screens on 4th March. Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak would release on Feb 25th as of now. Yash’s KGF chapter 2 is slated for 14th April release. Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata has been pushed to Aug 2022.
