Buzz: Nagarjuna As Cop In Ajith’s Next?

Ajith’s Valimai is set for a theatrical release on February 24 and the actor will next start shooting for a project with H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor.

It’s a heist based action thriller and the work will tentatively commence from March 9. And the latest update is, the makers are in pursuit of a senior hero for the role of a senior police commissioner.

The makers are reportedly planning to bring multiple actors from Malayalam and Telugu industries. Matching Ajith’s persona, the team is looking to get Nagarjuna or Mohanlal for the role of commissioner.

The role is said to be very important as a worthy opponent to Ajith. Moreover, as we know, Nag looks super fit and powerful as a cop and he donned the unifrom quite a few times on the big screens.

The sources suggest that in the next 15 days, it will get confirmed who eventually bags the role. As of now, a few credible actors are in the conversations, including Nagarjuna and Mohanlal from the top bracket.

Furthermore, the makers are in the process of casting the female lead of AK 61. And the name we hear is Aditi Rao Hydari. The film will release around Pongal 2023 release.
