Samantha, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupati starrer Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal is one of the most anticipated movies in Tamil now. The makers of the film chose today, a numerical palindrome 2.2.22 to release a new poster at 2:22 PM.
Director Vignesh Sivan took to Twitter and shared a beautiful poster to announce that the teaser will be out on February 11. The romantic entertainer will be released in theaters in April. Sharing the details of the teaser and release date, Vignesh Shivan wrote, “Reporting at 2.22 on 2.2.2022.Teaser from 11.2.2022. April release only in theatres 🙂 #KaathuVaakulaRenduKaadhal #teaser from 11.2.22.”
The poster shows Vijay and Nayan lost in each other’s eyes while Samantha is seen smiling. The trio wore white outfits. Talking about Sam, after 2020 Jaanu, this will be her first film to be released in theatres. Despite no movie of hers released in 2021, the actress turned heads with her special song in Pushpa: The Rise.
Billed to be a love triangle story, Kaathu Vaakul Rendu Kaadhal is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio in association with Vignesh Shivan’s Rowdy Pictures. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Samantha and Nayanthara will be seen together on the big screen in the roles of Khatija and Kanmani respectively while Vijay will essay the role of Rambo in the film.
