A few reports are floating on the social media that Mega producer Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts is looking for new talent. In the name of designers and make-up man who are associated with Geetha Arts banner, these casting calls are being carried out on social media.
Based on this, aspirants approached the Geetha Arts office in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad and they were shocked to learn that this is a fake casting call. Geetha Arts manager Satya was pleasantly surprised by this and approached the Cyber-Crime police and lodged a complaint. The police have started their probe too.
Meanwhile taking to their official social media handle, Geetha Arts clarified things. “We at Geetha Arts and any of our group of companies or any of our directors and producers doesn’t have any casting agents working for us as of now, never announced any casting call through social media to date and we have a clear procedure laid down for the selection of star cast which we adhere to in principle,” read the note posted.
But it is yet to be known who has done this mischievous thing and Geetha Arts was quick enough to rectify this false campaign.
