Samantha is on a spree of signing multiple films. With her recent projects The Family Man 2 and Pushpa: The Rise, Sam has amassed a huge following across the country. Thus, she is now being flooded with many projects from various film industries other than Telugu.
If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, the Ye Maya Chesave actress will soon team up with hero Karthi for a Tamil film. According to the Kollywood sources, Satish Selvakumar of ‘Bachelor’ fame finalized his next film with Karthi.
Apparently, the makers of this film have approached Samantha for the role of the female lead. An official announcement is expected to be made once she signs the dotted lines.
If Sam comes on board, this will be her first film with Karthi. The shoot of this movie is expected to begin once Karthi wraps up the works of his ongoing project Viruman. Apart from Viruman, the Awara actor is also working for the films Sardaar and Ponniyin Selvan.
Samantha was recently seen in Mumbai and there are reports that the actress reportedly met a few casting directors there to discuss work. She is apparently in talks for a couple of interesting projects in Hindi.
On the flip side, Samantha will be next seen in Vignesh Shivan’s Tamil film Kathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal and Gunasekhar’s mythological drama Shaakuntalam.
In Telugu, she only has Yashoda in her pipeline and the actress is actively getting calls from other languages.
