Talk: Mahesh And Balayya Played It Very Safely

Finally the much awaited finale episode of Aha superhit talk show “Unstoppable” got aired other day where host Nandamuri Balakrishna stole the show as usual with none other than Superstar Mahesh Babu in the hot seat. However, some of the revelations made by both of them have actually sounded like a safe game.

Speaking about the tiff between legendary NT Ramarao and Superstar Krishna, Mahesh himself clarified that there is no such tiff and NTR has appreciated the good work done by Krishna in Alluri Seetharamaraju movie. But those senior Telugu citizens who have been reading the news for years through newspapers and other sources back in the day, are not at all believe this.

Back then, NTR is said to have requested Krishna to not make a movie on the life of Alluri Seetharama Raju as he himself is trying to make one. But then, Krishna went ahead with his own plans and made that film. At that time, NTR was severely upset with Krishna that there were many reports every day in the news columns citing how the legendary former CM of united Andhra Pradesh showcased his anger over this. When NTR floated TDP, Krishna even supported the Congress party, taking their animosity to a new high.

Cut to 1986, the rivalry is at a peak that Superstar Krishna even made a film titled “Na Pilupe Prabhanjam” which happens to be a direct satire on the rule of the then Telugu Desam Party led by NTR in united Andhra Pradesh state. Some of the TDP MLAs of that time have also tried to stop the screening of the film in some theatres, while some MLAs even went on giving official statements that the film got Censored only because of Central Govt’s support to Krishna.

One wonders if both Mahesh Babu and Balakrishna think that none of the present generations knows about these happenings as they played it very safely on Aha’s talk show.
