A Fan Irks Shruti Haasan On Instagram Session

Shruti Haasan is one of the active social media users who loves updating her fans with her personal and professional life moments. She also had an interactive video session with her fans on Instagram today. However, the session did not go well as a user asked if Shruti can speak Hindi as she is an actress from the South.

Shruti Haasan looked miffed in a video. She replied, “List of things you probably shouldn’t do around me. One is asking me, “Aap Hindi bol payegi kya you’re from the South na,” as if it’s a different planet. We’re all making movies; we’re all working hard, no time for prejudice in 2022.”

The actress has always been straightforward and honest in voicing her opinions and this time too, she decided to not keep calm. Shruti acted in several Hindi films including Luck, Tevar, Dil Toh Bacha Hai Ji, D Day, Welcome Back, Rocky Handsome, Behen Hogi Teri and others.

However, she achieved recognition with the South films and is now one of the top heroines in Tollywood too. On the work front, the actress will be seen in Salaar, starring Prabhas. This pan-India film is directed by Prashanth Neel. She will also be starring in the web series titled Bestseller.
