Heroine’s Mom Turns Producer

Generally, heroines’ mothers only accompany them on the sets during the shoot and manage the schedules of their daughters. Only a few of them venture into production and start producing films.

Earlier, Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra had set up a production house called Purple Pebble Pictures and bankrolled a few films alongside her daughter.

Now, young actress Megha Akash’s mother Bindu Akash is also following the same route. Bindu Akash has turned into a producer and is bankrolling a film with her daughter playing the lead role. This untitled project is being directed by Abhimanyu Baddi.

Director Sushanth Reddy of Dear Megha fame is penning this unique wacky love story. He is co-producing the film along with Abhishek Kota and Bindu Akash under the banners of Trippyflix Studios and Kota Film Factory.

The announcement poster of this film was unveiled the other day, on the occasion of Valentines Day. More details about the rest of the cast are expected to be announced soon.

Megha Akash was last seen in films like Raja Raja Chora and Dear Megha.
