Star actress Keerthy Suresh is on a flop streak. After Mahanati, Keerthy acted in almost half-a-dozen films and all of them ended up as failures. The latest addition to her flop list is Good Luck Sakhi.
This Nagesh Kukunoor directorial film had hit the screens on January 28. After multiple delays, the makers had released it in a rushed manner, by not promoting the film properly.
However, Keerthy’s stardom brought a decent amount of audiences to the theatres. But the content was not good enough to entertain them. As a result, the movie garnered negative talk straight from day one. Thus, it ended up as a disaster at the box office.
Within two weeks of its theatrical release, Good Luck Sakhi landed up on Amazon Prime Video. It was premiered on Prime Video on February 11. There was no buzz for this movie in the OTT arena as well.
Last week, we witnessed the release of Khiladi and DJ Tillu in theatres. The likes of Bhama Kalapam, Mahaan and Malli Modalaindi have premiered on OTT platforms.
Amidst these new releases, there was no buzz for Good Luck Sakhi. In that way, the film ended up as a failure in the OTT arena too.
