In a shocking update, the Telugu film distributors from Nizam areas have decided to ban the popular online entertainment ticket booking agency, ‘Book My Show’.
As per reports, the Telugu film industry appears to have learned that the Book My Show is selling tickets at abnormal prices that ultimately are leading to less number audience at the theaters.
And until the ticket prices are settled, the film industry is said to have asked the exhibitors to sell the tickets only at booking counters in the respective theaters. The ticket prices at Book My Show are allegedly too high that is keeping the audience away from the theaters.
A Nizam distributor of Bheemla Nayak confirmed the same and said this decision was taken to avoid a burden on the audiences. The commission charged by Book My Show for a ticket is around Rs 30.
