Actress Samantha’s first pan India film ‘Shaakuntalam’ dropped its first major update and it is the first look. Unveiling the poster, Samantha wrote, “Presenting.. Nature’s beloved.. the Ethereal and Demure.. “Shakuntala” from #Shaakuntalam.”
Samantha looks truly like an eternal beauty in the poster. Sitting on a rock, she is surrounded by peacocks, deers and white swans. Every animal in the picture is gazing at Samantha i.e, Shaakuntala. The poster is fully loaded with creative elements and perfectly syncs with the genre.
Based on a popular Indian play Shakuntala by Kalidasa, the film is written and directed by Gunasekhar. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan is the protagonist and he will be seen as Dushyanta, the king of Puru Dynasty.
‘Shaakuntalam’ shooting has been wrapped up long back and currently the post-production works are going on.
