For the last few days, it has been widely rumoured in the media stating that Superstar Rajinikanth will team up with director Arunraja Kamaraj for his 170th film. It was further added that Boney Kapoor will bankroll the project.
Finally, Boney himself gave clarity about the news. He indirectly said that he is not producing any film with Rajini as of now.
“Rajni Garu has been a friend for years. We meet regularly and keep exchanging ideas. Whenever we finalise a film to work together on, I shall be the first person to announce it. You will not have to get such ‘leaked ideas’,” tweeted Boney.
With this statement, it is now confirmed that there is no truth in the viral news.
Currently, Rajini is prepping up for his 169th film, which will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the music of it.
On the flip side, Boney Kapoor is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Valimai, which is all set to hit the screens on February 24.
