For a long time, senior director Gunasekhar is looking forward to bringing the epic tale of Sakuntala and Dushyanta to the Telugu audience, and he has finally done it. Featuring Samantha in the lead role of enchantress Sakuntala, the director released the first look poster of “Shakuntalam” other day.
Guess what, Samantha’s charms in a white outfit have surely made her look angelic and the ethereal charm has captured attention for some time. However, the death of an AP Minister in the morning, the cancellation of the Bheemla Nayak event, and the release of Bheemla Nayak trailer have failed Samantha to reach her destination. The news of Shakuntalam got vaporized in no time due to these incidents.
At the same time, the audience who have loved the ravishing looks of Samantha from “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava” song and the posters of Samantha for Pushpa movie, are now disappointed with the first look poster of Shakuntala as there is no adequate glam-dose for them. They say that many haven’t got excited with the first look as Sam’s cute looks are not matching to that of the beauty of Shakuntala we hear for years.
