Legendary actor Kamal Haasan works as the host for Bigg Boss Tamil. Apart from hosting the first five seasons of the show, Kamal also came on board for the ongoing maiden season of Bigg Boss Ultimate, which streams exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
However, after hosting a few episodes, Kamal announced that he will be quitting the show due to some personal reasons. But he will be back as the host for Bigg Boss season 6 which is expected to start later this year.
After the exit of Kamal, there were many speculations about the next host of Bigg Boss Ultimate. Finally, the suspense has come to an end today.
Popular actor Silambarasan aka Simbu will be hosting Bigg Boss Ultimate from now on. An official announcement regarding the same has come out already from the official handle of Disney+ Hotstar.
Simbu has huge popularity in Tamil Nadu and he is currently high on the success of his recent flick Maanaadu. He also has his own share of controversies in the film industry.
Kamal was exceptional as the Bigg Boss host and we have to see how Simbu will handle the responsibilities. The first episode featuring Simbu as the host will be streamed on Saturday.
