Sorry, I Couldn’t Shoot The Sex Assault Video -Chinmayi

Apparently, the way popular singer Chinmayi Sripada stands for #MeToo on social media platforms is getting hailed by many sections. And this talented lady who has become famous for lending voice to Samantha in almost all the films, made accusations against a popular lyricist from Tamilnadu as well, after which she lost her license to dub for Tamil films.

Recently this particular lyricist shared the stage with many stalwarts including the likes of Tamilnadu CM, Rahul Gandhi, and big stars like Rajnikanth. Chinmayi in her series of tweets today has questioned how would women feel safe if such sexual predators are wandering all-around free in the world. “You know why it is difficult to be a woman and name your molester? Said molester will share the stage with the Honble CM of TN, Honble CM of Kerala, Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Honble MP Kanimozhi at a book release function. PLUS Mr Kamal Haasan, Mr Rajinikanth are special invitees. (sic)” she wrote on her Twitter page.

She stated that this country and their many politicians, women and men alike – care a damn if someone is a molester. When she stated that 20 women have already named him, a guy on Twitter asked her for proof to which she replied, “Sorry I couldn’t shoot the sex assault video everyone is asking for”.

Well, we have to see if at all any government would respond to the accusations made by Chinmayi and deal with it.
