Ever since the film theatres market opened after the second lockdown, the three films that have made it big at the box office are none other than Akhanda, Pushpa and now Bheemla Nayak. That brought huge happiness to film circles, but then it also brought a new question into the discussion.
Apparently, all the films that have worked till now are mass movies that either have intense action sequences backed by terrific background score or a crime comedy that has excited audiences with double entendre dialogues. That is now wondering the audience if any other movies that involve family stories and sentimental scenes would work at the box office or not.
With most of the audiences loving only mass movies and comedy films, sentimental films like Aadallu Meeku Joharlu and others are actually worried about their fate.
But then, movies like Satamanam Bhavati and Prathiroju Pandage worked out well at the box office at a time when such films are not even doing well. So we have to see if the taste of audiences will change soon and sentimental as well as family movies work apart from these mass movies.
