It Is Dil Raju Vs Mahesh Babu In May

As the theatres have opened with full occupancies, many big pending releases are now gearing up for the release. We are also witnessing some interesting clashes with the announcement of these new release dates.

One such clash is between F3 and Major. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, F3 is the sequel of the 2019 film F2, which features Venkatesh and Varun Tej in the lead roles. Tamannaah and Mehreen are playing the female leads in it. Dil Raju is bankrolling the project.

Initially, F3 was slated for release on April 28. But as the makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya decided to release the film on April 29, F3 was pushed once again. Now, the film is hitting the screens on May 27.

On the very same day, Adivi Sesh has decided to come up with his latest flick Major. Directed by Sashi Kiran Thikka, this is a biographical drama of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Superstar Mahesh Babu is bankrolling the project along with Sony Pictures India.

Major was initially slated for release in February but it is postponed due to the third wave of the pandemic.

Now, the clash between Dil Raju’s production venture and Mahesh Babu’s production venture looks inevitable. We have to see which among these will emerge as a winner at the box office.
