Adipurush Locks 2023 Sankranthi

In a slight disappointment to Prabhas fans, the release date of ‘Adipurush’ has been announced and it is locked on January 12^th, 2023. Initially the film was scheduled to arrive at the box office on August 11^th 2022 but due to unforeseen circumstances, the makers pushed the release.

A Sankranthi release is a huge advantage for the film and Prabhas is the first hero to have locked this big holiday season.

This also means Prabhas will be having just two releases this year instead of three which was anticipated earlier. The other film of Prabhas that is likely to hit the ticket counter this year is ‘Salaar’ and is a high octane action entertainer.

‘Adipurush’ is based on Ramayana and is being made with high technical values in 3D format. Prabhas is essaying the role of Raghav and it also stars Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh in pivotal roles.

A directorial of Om Raut, the film’s shooting was wrapped up recently. Extensive post-production works are going on and the makers are not compromising on the quality of VFX.
