Controversy Over A Scene In ‘Bheemla’; Case Lodged In Guntur

These days filmmakers should be very watchful of the dialogues, lyrics and scene of their respective movies. A small scene/dialogue can upset people belonging to diverse communities and yet again this was proved in the case of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Bheemla Naayak.’

This film, which was released last Friday, received an astounding response from fans and audiences. But Kummari and Shalivahana communities were hurt by a particular scene and they lodged a complaint against the makers of ‘Bheemla Naayak.’

According to Purushotham, the corporation chairman of both the communities, the antagonist in ‘Bheemla Naayak,’ Rana Daggubati kicks a pottery wheel to attack the protagonist and this scene did not go down well with the communities.

“Pottery wheel is our livelihood and we worship it every day. It’s a matter of pride for us and we were deeply anguished in the manner the wheel was kicked by Rana. We have serious objections and demanded the makers to remove the scene immediately,” added Purushotham.

Purushotham also lodged a complaint with Guntur urban SP and asked them to take appropriate action against the makers.

‘Bheemla Naayak’ producers are yet to learn about this complaint to react!
