Ram Pothineni takes to his Twitter handle, responding to the large-scale Russian invasion and the resulting humanitarian crisis unfolding currently in the Eastern European country of Ukraine. Several people have lost their lives in the invasion so far and the most active celeb response so far comes from Ram.
The actor wrote “It may not be the right move for the other countries to directly send in their troops to fight the war..but, it’s their Bloody God Damn DUTY to put some boots on the ground to get their respective citizens back safely! #UkraineWar #SaveIndiansInUkraine”.
The world is heartbroken over the Ukraine and Russia conflict and Ram’s tweet leaves fans grateful. Netizens thanked him for bringing up the topic and condemning the violence by calling for peace. A couple of days ago, Sundeep Kishan also took to social media after he was left shaken by a video clip.
The video showed a group of four Indian students from Tamil Nadu, who are stuck in Ukraine, are seen appealing for help. Sundeep Kishan, quoting the tweet with the video clip, said, “This really shook me up…sending prayers for their safety.” Kudos to these two young heroes for responding and it goes with saying that one celebrity tweet on a social cause or global matters can bring awareness and translate to a lot of power.
