In a bid to provide exclusive Telugu content to Telugu OTT consumers, mega-producer Allu Arvind has carved out the native app “Aha”. Though things are expected to start on a high note, coronavirus pandemic has slowed his plans. After the initial half-dozen web series the app doesn’t come up with anything interesting.
A buzz is doing rounds that Aha has made its plans to go for an all-out shooting from the third week of July as they have greenlit nearly a dozen web series. However, with the news of Amitab Bachhan testing positive for Covid-19 coming out, all these plans are said to have taken a backseat.
A source in the known revealed: “Though they have planned to go for a shoot with all the necessary precautions, the rumour that Big B got affected by coronavirus after taking part in Kaun Banega Crorepati promo shoot has shocked them. So AHA folks have decided to slow down”.
But with no new content coming in from weeks, won’t Aha subscribers lose interest on the app? That’s what worrying Arvind now.
