Naga Chaitanya To Debut Into Tamil?

Naga Chaitanya, who has his roots in Chennai, is all set to make his Kollywood debut soon. Chaitanya has given his nod for a Telugu-Tamil bilingual which will be helmed by Tamil director Venkat Prabhu. Prabhu who recently made Maanaadu (The Loop) with Simbhu is going to direct Chay.

Apparently, Prabhu narrated an interesting family drama set against a period timeline and this is said to have impressed Chay. Since many of his Tollywood peers are expanding base, Chay too has decided to test his luck in Tamil.

Prabhu is currently busy with Manmatha Leelai starring Ashok Selvan and Samyukta Hegde which he is planning to release on April 1st. He will next team up with Naga Chaitanya.

Buzz is that Pooja Hegde is considered to romance Chay in this film. Chay and Pooja were last seen in Oka Laila Kosam eight years ago. This project is going to be bankrolled by the makers who are currently producing Lingusamy-Ram’s Warrior and Boyapati-Ram’s next.
