Opinion: Big Actors With Small Roles

Amidst huge expectations, Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam had hit the screens the other day. As expected, the film received a big opening across all the centers.

Meanwhile, the talk has not been very encouraging because many viewers felt that the movie was slow.

There were an array of actors in Radhe Shyam. The makers have roped in prominent actors from various film industries to bring a true pan-India appeal to the film.

Radhe Shyam featured Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, Bhagyashree, Kunal Roy Kapur, Murali Sharma, and Sachin Khedekar in the supporting roles.

Though there are these many big names, none of them got a meaty role in the movie except for Sachin Khedekar.

As a result, this big cast couldn’t save the film in ending up a disappointing venture. Meanwhile, industry folks are opining that it is high time for makers to realize the fact that just bringing in actors from various industries doesn’t help their movies in becoming successful. They also need to write good roles for those big actors.
