The theatrical business in Andhra Pradesh is getting worsened day by day due to multiple factors. The decline in the cinema ticket prices, the corona pandemic, the cancellation of special shows, and the sudden inspections of the theatres in the state have made it difficult to run the cinema theatres in the state. However, the case is not the same in Telangana state.
In Telangana, the government has given a green signal for the theatres to increase the ticket prices. For the first two weeks, there is a facility to increase the cinema ticket rates for big-budget flicks. On top of that, the government also gave permissions for special shows, benefit shows, and also a fifth show.
However, the government of Telangana went a step ahead to permanently sanction the fifth show in the state. All theatres can screen five shows per day with the new decision. However, the theatre owners should not play the movie between 1 AM and 8 AM. The first show should begin at 8 AM and should end before 1 AM.
Depending on the craze of biggies, the producers are anyways acquiring permissions for special midnight or early morning shows. This has reduced the effort of the filmmakers to approach the officials each time a new film releases.
With the government officially granting permission for five shows, it is certainly a big boon for theatres in the state,
