The Baahubali franchise is something that Indian Cinema needed for long. The film was the bright gem in the tiara of Indian Cinema which has made it shine across the countries and even outshines some great flicks today.
Right from the beginning of its making, the rumours on Baahubali’s third part have been intact. Amid the rumours, Rajamouli himself confirmed the news in two different events of late.
In one of the interviews, Rajamouli said that yes, one can expect Baahubali 3 but it will take time. “There are multiple times happening around Baahubali. We are exploring various avenues. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda is pursuing them. There will be some very exciting news from the Baahubali team on this”. The words gave a lot of hope and excitement among cinemagoers and it is indeed a pleasant one that we heard in a long time.
Hopefully, in the next couple of years, Baahubali fans across the globe can once again experience Rajamouli’s magnum opus, which is pure imagination and art that proved to be a class apart. Meanwhile, as we recall, back in 2015, Rajamouli’s tweet once read about the rumours on Baahubali 3. He said then that the story will conclude with part 2 and wrote ‘Only I know what’s going to come’. But it is understood that the makers have revised their decision.
The film is praised to be the most extravagant creation in the history of Indian cinema and during a promotional event of Radhe Shyam, Prabhas was also asked about Baahubali 3. “Baahubali is a film I will always hold very close to my heart. The kind of impact it has left in my career can never be matched. Whether Baahubali 3 will happen or not is something I don’t know. But I definitely can’t do it immediately, but it has to happen, it will only if Rajamouli wants it.”
