Sunny Leone As An NRI In Her Telugu Comeback

There is no need to introduce Sunny Leone to the Indian folks. She enjoys huge popularity across the nation. She made her Tollywood debut with the 2014 film Current Theega.

Later, she did an item song in the 2017 release PSV Garuda Vega. After a long gap, Sunny is making a comeback into Telugu cinema, and that too with a full-length role.

Sunny is playing one of the female leads in Manchu Vishnu’s upcoming film Gali Nageswara Rao. Payal Rajput is playing the other lead role in this comedy-drama.

Speaking in a recent interview with the Deccan Chronicle, the film’s screenplay writer Kona Venkat said that Sunny plays the role of an NRI woman named Renuka, who visits a village in India. Apparently, the story showcases how the lifestyle of a village is transformed after Sunny’s visit.

Kona further added that Vishnu, Payal, and Sunny will be seen as friends. He stated that all of them shared a great on-screen camaraderie.

Sunny also completed shooting her first schedule of the film. Most of the shoot is taking place in Rangampeta near Tirupati. The project is being helmed by Ishan Surya.
