Assam Govt. Grants Leave For Employees To Watch This Movie

The Kashmir Files has been receiving unanimous praise from the audience since the day it was released. As a result, the movie has been getting thumping collections at the box office.

As the film deals with the Kashmiri genocide issue and how Kashmiri Pandits were brutally killed in the massacre, the Government of India is projecting it as an important film for the citizens.

Meanwhile, Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma went a step ahead and came up with an offer for the government servants in the state. He said that a half-day leave will be granted for the government employees who want to watch The Kashmir Files.

“They will have to only inform their superior officers and submit the tickets the next day,” he went on to add. States like Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tripura, Haryana, Gujarat, and Uttarakhand made this film tax-free.

Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, The Kashmir Files features Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar and Mithun Chakraborty in the pivotal roles.
