Poor Reviews, Digital & Satellite Rights Fetch 7 Cr!

Pelli SandaD might have garnered poor reviews and the film was panned by the critics outrightly. Yet the film had a successful run in theatres, all thanks to colourful songs, the lead pair Roshan and Sree Leela and the heroine’s glamour dose. The film directed by K Raghavendra Rao was a sleeper hit at the Box Office.

After a long wait, the makers of Pelli SandaD have sold the satellite and digital rights of the film for a fancy price. As per reports, Pelli SandaD non-theatrical rights including satellite and digital rights have fetched about Rs 7 Crore. Zee 5 has bought the streaming rights of the film.

Released with poor promotions, the film did a miracle at the ticket windows and even shocked the trade. On the whole, the producers have pocketed huge profits with this film. It needs to be seen how the film would perform on the small screen.
