Radhe Shyam
Prabhas, who had scored successive blockbusters Baahubali and Saaho in Hindi, received a huge setback with romantic thriller Radhe Shyam. The Hindi version is declared as a big-time disaster. The Hindi theatricals value is estimated at Rs 100 Crore. According to trade analysts, Radhe Shyam Hindi may end up below Rs 20 Crore Nett in its final run. This is a big failure for Prabhas.
On Tuesday, Radhe Shyam collected Rs 1.15 Crore Nett which is 20 percent down from the Monday figure. The Wednesday numbers are still awaited. It is learnt that there is no respite to the makers.Radhe Shyam has been witnessing steady drop in its collections.
While the situation was somewhat better in the Telugu states due to the first weekend, the collections are witnessing a drop in the Telugu states as well due to poor word of mouth. However, the producers pocketed good profits through non-theatrical rights including satellite, digital and music rights of the film.
