One Year Back It Was Like A Festival: Jagan

Post ‘Temper’ with Tarak, dashing director Puri Jagannadh delivered with back-to-back duds. Puri had ample of hopes on NBK’s ‘Paisa Vasool’ and later he relaunched his son Akash Puri with ‘Mehbooba.’ Both these films were huge disappointments.

This has led Puri to lose his star director status too and many thought, Puri’s time is over. Just when many heroes weren’t that willing to team up with Puri, Energetic Star Ram joined hands with him for ‘iSmart Shankar.’

The film released exactly a year ago and it went on to be a smashing hit. This success was a huge relief for director Puri and hero Ram.

Remembering and cherishing it, Puri took to his Twitter and wrote, “One year back on this same day it was like a festival. Thanks a lot my most hard working producer @Charmmeofficial, u were soo stubborn to make #iSmartShankar a blockbuster. My dears @AgerwalNidhhi @NabhaNatesh @ActorSatyaDev n complete team, love u all #1YearForiSmartShankar.”

Before this Puri showered compliments on hero Ram in his style. “I got energy back into my life with the success of #iSmartShankar Heartfully thank @ramsayz for trusting in me so much,each n every day with u was like a celebration..I can’t wait to meet u n give u a tight hug n thanking u once again. Nuvvu turrrum ra.”

But the team is not going to celebrate this blockbuster because of the Covid-19 situation.
