Rajamouli Is A Creator But Not A Cinema Maker: Karnataka CM

Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai graced the special pre-release event of RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. The makers held the special pre-release event at Chikballapur in Karnataka. The film is releasing on 25th March 2022 in a grand manner.

Speaking at the event, Karnataka CM said, “The main reason for me to come here is that the film RRR is based on the unsung heroes of the Indian freedom struggle.”

Appreciating director Rajamouli for coming up with such a big visual spectacle, the Karnataka CM said, “Rajamouli creates a new world. He is a creator but not a filmmaker. I especially appreciate and congratulate him for making noise across the nation with the film RRR. I am sure that RRR will be the pride of the nation,” adding, “Rajamouli, Charan, and NTR are like Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara.”

“I request everyone to watch the film in theatres. Everyone who loves the country should watch the film and appreciate the team.” said the chief minister.

The Karnataka CM also made a special request to Rajamouli that he should dedicate the film to the unsung heroes of the Indian freedom struggle. “I request Rajamouli to dedicate RRR to the unsung heroes like Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose Chandrasekhar Azad, Lala Lajpat Rai, and Jhansi Lakshmi Bai,” shared the CM.

Basavaraj is very close to the deceased actor Puneeth Rajkumar and he spoke about him as well. “As Swami Vivekananda says, For the achiever, death is not the end. The man who lives after death is the real achiever. Puneeth is the real achiever. Puneeth Rajkumar will live until there is Sun and Moon in this world.”

RRR is hitting the screens in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages on 25th March 2022.
